As Human Resources Manager, Alisha Abji’s role is overarching, supporting every department and being an ally for staff and management.
“I aim to empower everyone in their roles and ensure they have the tools to be successful,” she says, “while constantly looking for ways to make improvements.”
Alisha joined Logit in January of 2021 and had an understanding of the market research industry — especially the CATI side of the business — from earlier career experience.
“Thanks to my previous exposure I was able to get up to speed quickly,” she says, “and everybody was welcoming during the onboarding process, asking tough but fair questions.”
For Alisha, recruitment is the most rewarding part of her job.
“When you find an ideal candidate and give them an offer, it can be a joyful and life-changing experience,” she says.
Alisha has been instrumental in helping Logit showcase the core values of the company — innovation, client advocacy, collaboration, and diversity — in a more public-facing way.
“Our staff has always carried ourselves with those values at the heart of everything we do,” she says, “so we decided, let’s put pen to paper on them.”
